Chinese Sticks

Keep the two sticks paired together in the same hand; out of each of them a tassel comes out to which a thin rope is tied. Pull downward one of them and the other one will go up, or vice-versa. Repeat this passage more than once and your audience will think that the two sticks are somehow joined together. But, even if you move the two ends of the sticks away from each other, the ropes will keep on interacting and moving symbiotically. They’ll do the same when you’ll hold them one in each hand. And finally, also when you’ll hold one stick in your hand and the other one under your arm: they’ll always move against any logical explanation!
